As we entered the heart of fall, a tidal wave of change came crashing in on the Lucas family. And we loved every second. We entered an eventful month and were aware of the sovereignty of the Lord’s timing in the midst of the madness and his perfect orchestration of our 4th month of marriage as we moved, traveled, explored, & learned.
What We Lived.
Adopted a New Pup & Named Her Scout. Immediately fell in love. 
Laughed at Scout Wearing the Cone of Shame. 
Went on a Weekend Trip to San Francisco &&…
…Ran the Nike Half Marathon!
Celebrated the Marriage of Carter & Season DeAngelis {10.20.12}
Picked Out Our Very First Pumpkins as the Lucas Family.

We didn’t anticipate much of October’s events to be part of the Lord’s plan for us but we were thrilled to follow where He compelled our hearts & feet to go as He gave us great peace in His plan. So often we pray that the Lord’s will would be done in our lives but as He reveals it to us, we are tempted to deny the genuineness of our requests when they were lifted heavenward. Praise God from whom all blessings flow for the unwavering consistency of His grace and mercy even when we wander. We know that He holds us sovereignly in His hands and that He will continue to guide our steps as we adventure together. May we give Him all the glory.
